Hello my name is Andrea and i’m helping my friend Salma.These are her words:

Before October 7, my family was living a beautiful life, but everything changed. They were displaced again and again, and their lives were destroyed.

I am 20 years old. I was born in the Gaza Strip. My family and I have endured tremendous hardships over the past seven months due to the war. We have lost everything , I lived in the war for 5 months and went to Egypt, me, my father, my mother, and my sister, but so that I could secure the funds necessary to take the rest of my family out.

The goal of this campaign is to raise money for my family once they arrive in Egypt. Currently, my family is displaced on the Mawasi of Khan Yunis and the only way they can leave is across the border in the south of the Gaza Strip. It is too dangerous for them to travel there now, and we are waiting for a way safe. We will go to Rafah and then I will put their names on the exit list. The goal for my campaign was €30,000 Transit fees from Gaza to Egypt are 30,000 euro

My family consists of my brother Ahmed, 18 years old, my grandfather, my uncle Rami’s and his wife family (Suleiman, 17 years old, Basil, 15 years old, Muhammad, 11 years old, Ahmed, 6 years old, Elias, 4 years old),Now that I have the funds to evacuate them, I need to raise funds to help them resume their lives, and cover basic living expenses such as shelter, lunch, medical care, etc.

We had a wedding hall that they bombed, and They bombed a three-story house, leaving nothing behind.

My family is facing displacement and extremely difficult challenges amidst the ongoing genocide of this horrific occupation! I have lived through three wars, and this current catastrophe has been the worst, filled with suffering, pain, and hardship. My story is filled with pain, destruction, suffering, sadness, and frustration, but it is also a story of resilience, courage, bravery, strength, and hope for a better tomorrow! I want to die, but I want to live in freedom and peace!

Why donate? The purpose of this campaign is to raise enough funds to ensure that Salma and her family have access to the most basic human rights that should be available to everyone at no cost.

However, due to widespread famine and extremely high inflation caused by the current occupation, the price of even the most basic foodstuffs, such as flour, is approximately $500 for a 25-kg bag in Gaza City! Furthermore, there is a severe shortage of sanitary products, housing reconstruction supplies, and clothing, which are extremely scarce and extremely expensive.

The collected donations will be used for:

Survival necessities: Food for a family of ten,

Limited access to clean water for drinking and bathing.

Basic necessities: Clothing for protection from the elements. Soap and shampoo for cleaning and preventing skin diseases.

Toothpaste for preventing oral infections and diseases.

Rebuilding our shelter: Fundraising and purchasing supplies and materials to rebuild our destroyed home. Create a safer shelter from the ongoing bombing, displacement, weather, disease, and threats.
